Last Week Discussion #2
My favorite thing about this class was the fact that it was an online class. It was easy to fit in my schedule because I could write my assignments in school or at home. The accessibility of this class is very important for me because I have seven classes and I work. My least favorite thing about this class was the time frame for the posts such as waiting 12 hours between posts. It was difficult trying to figure out whether or not it has been 12 hours and if I could put up another post. However, I do understand the time frame is important because it gives people chances to comment earlier on in the week. Without the 12 hour gaps, people might put up all their posts last minute, leaving the comment portion to be delayed. This class can be improved by having the end period be Sunday 11:59pm rather than Saturday 11:59pm. Usually, this is the time period people think of when submitting assignments. Also, since most people go to school every day, the extra day on the weekend would help those people.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your blog post! I also loved being able to take this class online! I feel like everyone has busy schedules (although probably not as busy as yours! haha) and having the opportunity to just log on from anywhere and do assignments was helpful. I could be at home, in between classes, or wherever. I definitely agree with you about the time frame of the assignments. I wish the time restrictions were less than 12 hours apart. Although it teaches students how to manage their time, and it allows other students to do their comments, I think less time apart would be more beneficial for the student. It absolutely made it less convenient! Lastly, I also agree that instead the week ending on Saturday night at 11:59PM; it should be changed to Sunday at 11:59PM. Being in the middle of the weekend was stressful and hard to accomplish when on vacation or in the middle of an activity! Overall though, I felt this class was worthwhile!

ReplyDeletei really enjoyed reading your last post for this last blogging week. i agreed to your post because the online is more convenient to fit your schedule and you can do the assignment at anytime that you are free to do so. i would also agree that i really do not like the waiting time for posting the blog because it could be conflict to your convenient time. if the time was open to anytime within the week for blogging, then it would be better for us to finish the assignment much quicker for our free time. it was kind of stressful to be on a vacation because we had to be aware of time for having the necessary time to blog. unfortunately, the class turned out to be great anyway. i felt that this class is my most favorite class for this semester. any way great blogging post and i hope you do well on final. peace out esconequeen.
